How fees work

A starting fee, then a confirmed quote.

The fees on this page are starting points for residential property in NSW, the ACT and Victoria. Tell us the address, why you need the valuation and any date it must be valued at, and we reply with the fee and what the report includes.

Nothing is payable until you have that fee in writing and choose to go ahead.

What changes the fee

The property, the purpose and the date.

We confirm the scope, fee and timing before you book.

  • The property: its type, size and location
  • The purpose and the report it calls for
  • The valuation date, including dates in the past
  • More than one property or dwelling
  • Regional locations, assessed for each instruction

Stamp duty and CGT reports take 2 to 3 working days after pre-payment and inspection. Mediation reports take 3 to 5, and long-form family law and litigation reports take 5 to 10. If you have a deadline, tell us when you ask for a quote.

Your questions

Clearly explained.

Talk to our team about the property and your requirements.

Do the fees include GST?

Yes. Every fee on this page includes GST.

Is the starting fee what I will pay?

The starting fee is for a standard property and scope. Where the property, the valuation date or the scope calls for more work, the fee is higher. Either way, you have the fee in writing before you pay.

When do I pay?

Payment is made before work on the report starts. Pre-payment confirms your booking.

How are deceased estate fees set?

Deceased estate and probate valuations start from $790 including GST. The fee depends on the property, the date and the purpose, and we confirm it in writing before you pay.

What about commercial, rural or unusual property?

These are quoted to scope. Send the address and the purpose and we will confirm the fee.

What does the fee cover?

The inspection where one is required, the research, and a signed report from a Certified Property Valuer setting out the property, the evidence, the method and the assessed value.

Start with the property and your purpose.

We’ll confirm the report scope, fee and next steps in writing.
